20 Minute Flash Treadmill Workout

ImageI was turned onto this intervals workout by a buddy. He calls it the Flash workout.

You don’t have to do this on a treadmill, but if you have one available, it’s a great way to increase your speed. It’s also a wonderful anaerobic workout.

If you’re new to intervals, I’d suggest bumping the speed portions down a bit.

Duration: 20 minutes

0 – 5 min 6 mph
5 – 6 min 9.3 mph
6 – 7 min 2.0 mph
7 – 8 min 9.4 mph
8 – 9 min 2.0 mph
9 – 10 min 9.5 mph
10 – 11 min 2.0 mph
11 – 12 min 9.6 mph
12 – 13 min 2.0 mph
13 – 14 min 9.7 mph
14 – 15 min 2.0 mph
15 – 16 min 9.8 mph
16 – 17 min 2.0 mph
17 – 18 min 9.9 mph
18 – 19 min 2.0 mph
19 – 20 min 10 mph
